Beleza by the Beach resort in south Goa has an interesting genesis. Originally constructed as a group of villas adjoining a private residence, it was converted into a boutique four-star resort with beautiful vistas of the surrounding paddy fields on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other around 2008-9.
